WRITE A LETTER
Your card or letter may seem a small, insignificant thing to you, but to Randy, your words become a treasured keepsake to inspire and motivate him whilst on his present journey. Letters can be addressed via the Canadian Embassy.

    Randy James Sachs
    Embassy of Canada, Hanoi
    Consular Department
    31 Hung Vuong
    Hanoi, Vietnam

A few simple rules to writing letters:
  • When writing always be polite. Introduce yourself and explain why you have decided to write.
  • Don't judge Randy because he has already been judged.
  • Write on the basis that authorities will read your letter. Write about appropriate topics, non-political and offer positive support. Show respect for the authorities and prison officers. They have a very difficult job to do.
  • Let Randy know you visited his campaign page at the Foreign Prisoner Support Service. Often it is a little daunting to get a letter from a complete stranger and not knowing how they came by your information.
  • Feedback is important. So please let us know if you do make contact and how it all goes. Thank you!
