Some mother's son may soon face a firing squad!
Campaign Against the Death Penalty
The death penalty is the ultimate cruel, inhuman and degrading punishment. It violates the right to life. It is irrevocable and can be inflicted on the innocent. It has never been shown to deter crime more effectively than other punishments.
We respectfully appeal to the Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono to spare the lives of these two Australians on death row in Kerobokan Prison, Bali. These men have committed crimes and should be punished, but have made good use of the prison rehabiliation care and have turned their lives to good.
We appeal that their sentences be commuted to life with parole conditions.
Show other young people that drug trafficking is WRONG. It can result in a life sentence and that's not worth forfeiting your freedom …for any price.
